Anna Hartel

Anna completed her Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biomedicine at the LIMES Institute in Bonn in 2021. For her Master's degree, she focused on clinical translational research at the University Hospital Bonn, studying Medical Immunosciences and Infection. During her Master's thesis, she joined the IEO to study immunotherapeutic strategies against ovarian cancer and adapted the chick chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) assay for patient derived fragments. Now she is now continuing her PhD at the IEO, still focusing on developing the CAM assay as a platform to enhance preclinical drug testing for ovarian cancer treatment.
