Carolin received her B.Sc. degree in Biosciences in 2021 from Ruprecht-Karls University Heidelberg, where she completed her thesis at the DKFZ and discovered her passion for cancer research. She then began her Master’s degree in Molecular Cell Biology at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University Bonn. To further pursue her interest in cancer research, she conducted her master’s thesis in the group of Nicole Glodde at the IEO, investigating a Nectin molecule as a potential target for CAR T cell therapy in solid tumors. In 2024, she joined the Glodde lab as a PhD student to continue working on this project.
