Bio
Farah received her MSc in Medical Immunosciences and Infection from the University of Bonn, Germany in 2022. The focus of her thesis was on understanding the regulated mechanisms driving the immunoregulatory function of lymphoid stromal cells. She later joined Hölzel’s lab for her PhD in the joint PhD program of the Bonn and Melbourne research and graduate school immunosciences (IRTG 2168). Her current project focuses on melanoma plasticity using a mouse model to study the tumor micro-environment and investigate the role of melanoma phenotype on immune cell cross-talk and surveillance in lymph node metastasis.
