Bio
Jacob completed his Bachelor's degree in Applied Biology at Hochschule-Bonn Rhein-Sieg in 2021, where he conducted his thesis research in the group of Florian Schmidt at the Institute of Innate Immunity. Subsequently, he pursued a Master's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Cologne. Upon completing his studies in 2024, he joined Michael Hölzel's group as a student research assistant. He will continue with his PhD after obtaining his master's degree. His PhD project focuses on studying small cell lung cancer and identifying new targets for immunotherapies.
