Bio
Saskia received her MSc in immunobiology: From molecules to integrative systems from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University Bonn. Through her master thesis at the IEO she started to establish new genome engineering techniques to generated oncogenic driver mutations, which promote cancer growth and play a central role in establishment of resistant mechanisms in cancer. Her experimental master thesis sparked her interest in experimental oncology, leading her to join the Glodde lab at the IEO in 2021 as a PhD student to continue her research on pathophysiological relevant mutations in cancer and unravel their influence on immune regulation and experimental therapeutic approaches.
